About Refined Pursue

Refined Pursue was created from Rose Boff’s belief that what guides people’s lives is a continuous understanding and interpretation of their experiences, stories, where they came from, and where they are going.

Refined Pursue offers more than therapy. It is also about the power of joining clients where they are in life and helping them utilize their experience as enriching open channels through which they can communicate their feelings and their private perceptual worlds to develop a healthy self-understanding and inward freedom that generates growth.

The practice of blending elements from different approaches accommodates each client's unique needs, considering their characteristics, preferences, needs, and motivational levels.

Pleasure to Meet you!

What inspired me to devote my professional life to this field was its hopeful, vital, valid message and powerful healing that brings about people's sense of gentleness, strength, and humanity. My formal education was significantly enriched by personal experiences that have humbled and graced me as a friend, mother, wife, and grandmother. All these encounters and their inherent dynamics made it clear that each of us seek the story of our life that makes sense and helps us live. As a psychotherapist, I wanted to empower my clients and give them a fresh opportunity to bring previously unknown aspects of themselves and their experiences and turn them into a story with the purpose to change.

My formal training prepared to me to turn psychotherapeutic relationships into powerful safe grounds where countless old, tired personal narratives have become resonant, grounded self-evident truths, opening the door to more meaningful lives. My approach is integrative allowing the inclusion of elements personalized for the client respecting the complexity of human behavior, and the impact of culture and social context on individual experience. It incorporates and emphasizes elements of emotional exploration, neurobiological mental processes, a disposition to identification and empathy, valuing of subjectivity and affect, appreciation of attachment, and a capacity for faith.
