Rose Boff
is a trilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor proficient in Portuguese and Spanish. Originally from Brazil, she pursued her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Washington and subsequently completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest University.
Her dedication to the mental health field is fueled by a profound belief in its optimistic and transformative message of healing, which nurtures an individual’s inner kindness, resilience, and humanity. This belief is not only rooted in her academic journey but also in personal experiences that have bestowed humility and grace upon her life.
Rose is committed to creating safe grounds within the psychotherapeutic relationship, a place where worn-out personal narratives are reinvigorated into resonant self-evident truths that facilitate the pursuit of more fulfilling lives. Her integrative approach is tailored to each client, honoring the complexity of human behavior and the significant role of cultural and social contexts in shaping personal experiences.
My Approach
Rose’s practice is grounded in a person-centered approach, emphasizing the importance of emotional exploration and neurobiological processes. She integrates scientifically evidenced modalities rooted in relational psychoanalysis, attachment theory, and neuroscience insights. These approaches are combined to foster authenticity through an engaging and directive style, using mindfulness for self-exploration.
Rose trusts these methods to guide her and the client into areas that will ultimately strengthen the client's sense of honesty, agency, mastery, self-cohesion, self-esteem, affect tolerance, and capacity for fulfilling relationships.
